we are accepting gift vouchers in store. however please read the below terms before making a booking as we have changed our policy during the COVID pandemic.

Reservations

We make bookings for Afternoon Tea only. All other menu items can be purchased without a booking. Please follow the below steps to make your booking. Please note you will be charged when making the booking so do not select this option if you have a voucher to redeem or little ones not eating. 

  • Choose your branch

  • Choose the number of people the table is for and having the Afternoon Tea. Please note if you will be bringing children who will not be eating we have enough room for a maximum of 2 little ones on a table whilst we socially distancing and at half capacity. We kindly ask you let us know that in the customer comment section so we can prepare the extra seats before your visit. We are sorry to say that at this time we cannot accommodate adults who will not be having Afternoon Tea due to us being at half capacity. Apologies we cannot be as flexible as normal with space and non-eaters whilst we are doing a staggered reopening. We will go back to our usual chilled bookings when the business is back to normal.

    • Afternoon Tea £14.95 per person (you will be asked to provide card details)

    • Afternoon Tea redeeming a voucher (limited number per day, no card details will be required)

  • Fill in Your Contact Details

  • Let us know if you have dietary requirements. We do our best to accommodate the following (Gluten-free, Wheat free, Dairy-free, Vegan and Nut-free- separately. However our kitchen does contain the known allergens listed below and as result cannot guarantee there won't be trace elements) 

  • Read the terms and conditions

  • Enter your card details to secure for Afternoon Tea

ALL DONE, we look forward to seeing you. Please keep an eye out for your confirmation email. If you need to move your booking for another time. Please give us plenty of notice as we are running at half capacity and all tables count. We ask to be informed by midday on the date of your booking at the latest.

however, we have limited spaces per day 

if you wish to redeem a gift voucher choose 'afternoon tea using a VOUCHER'  

 

due to us operating at half capacity,

we are designating 25% of our daily bookings to voucher redemption.

this is only temporary and intended to get us through difficult trading months after covid.

we believe this is fair and helps all customers

 

if no voucher option shows then we have filled the 25% quota for that day-please choose another

if you go ahead with the afternoon tea without a voucher you will be charged full price

please remember our vouchers have no expiry date.

if we are full or you aren't ready to head out yet-just keep your voucher safe-we will always accept it

PICNIC afternoon teas are a bake box item and are a separate takeaway promotion vouchers cannot be redeemed against our picnics

Afternoon Tea served between 12 and 4 pm. Tea, breakfast, cakes and cream teas can enjoyed throughout the day and do not require a booking

2.

Our Norwich Tearoom is up a flight of stairs. Please let us know in the comments if you require the lower floor. Guests unable to use our stairs can book in our easily accessible Aylsham branch 

3.

Tables of 1-3 are reserved for 1.5 hours. Tables of 4 or more for 2 hours. Our largest table is for 6. Larger tables are advised to book out of hours using the Parties tab

We are a modest space and will only be booking out half the tearoom due to Covid-19

5.

Please remember to count all those that need to be seated (even if not eating and inform us of extra children (up to 2 per booking) Due to space constraints we will not be able to add highchairs unless pre informed

6.

We are humbly surprised at how busy Biddy's can be at peak times. We are a small, family run independent. If a bustling city cafe will be likely to offend, we suggest coming off peak or if you need a larger space we are happy to advise on local eateries.

7.

Regretfully we cannot take bookings over the phone. Bookings need to be secured with a card to protect us from no shows and empty tables and this must be done using a PCI compliant system.

Please inform us via bookings@biddystearoom.com or calling your local store with any dietary requirements you might have or pop them in the box when booking. We do our best to accommodate all with enough notice but are running a limited menu since Covid.

Our kitchen contains the following allergens

10.

We will have a limited number of tables per day for those wishing to redeem a voucher. Due to Covid-19 this is capped at 25% of our daily bookings until we are back at regular capacity. You must book the Voucher Afternoon Tea to redeem a voucher. Please note our vouchers do not expire, just keep them safe if we have no voucher spaces left on certain days and we will see you as business goes back to normal.
