We take bookings for Afternoon Tea only. All other menu items can be purchased without a booking. Please follow the below steps to make your booking. Please note we will ask for card details, however, you would only be charged if you fail to turn up to your booking without letting us know beforehand. 

  • Choose your branch

  • Choose the number of people the table is for and having the Afternoon Tea. Please include all seats, even if these are for children or highchairs 

  • Choose a date Dates available are in gold, fully booked or closed dates will have a strike-through them 

  • Choose a time from the drop-down list

  • Let us know if you have dietary requirements. We do our best to accommodate the following (Gluten-free, Wheat free, Dairy-free, Vegan and Nut-free- separately. However our kitchen does contain the known allergens listed below and as result cannot guarantee there won't be trace elements) 

  • Read the terms and conditions

  • Enter your card details to secure for Afternoon Tea. Please note we ask for the card details even if you are using a voucher. This is to protect us against no-shows which are particularly important at a time where hospitality is stretched. Every seat counts. If you do not wish to provide your card details just come in for a walk-in table. We keep tables free for walk-ins each day but the times cannot be guaranteed 

ALL DONE. we look forward to seeing you! Please keep an eye out for your confirmation email. If you need to move your booking for another time. Please give us plenty of notice as we are running at half capacity and all tables count. Cancellations must be made 24 hours before your booking, without a valid cancellation we reserve the right to charge the card deposit of £5 per person cancelled. Afternoon Tea served between 12 and 4 pm. Tea, breakfast, cakes and cream teas can enjoyed throughout the day and do not require a booking


Some of our Norwich Tearoom is up a flight of stairs. Please let us know in the comments if you require the lower floor. Our Aylsham branch is all on one floor


Tables of 1-3 are reserved for 1.5 hours. Tables of 4 or more for 2 hours. Our largest table is for 6. Larger tables are advised to book out of hours using the Parties tab 


We are a modest sized space and book half our tables at any one time, leaving plenty for walk ins.

We have plenty of walk-in tables each day, if there are no booking spaces free just pop in and we will get you the next table. We will not know what the wait will be you will be asked to start or join a queue


Well-behaved dogs are welcome in both shops. We keep some space dog free so do check before you sit.


We are humbly surprised at how busy Biddy's can be at peak times. We are a small, family run independent. If a bustling city cafe will be likely to offend, we suggest coming off peak or if you need a larger space we are happy to advise on local eateries.


Regretfully we cannot take bookings over the phone. Bookings need to be secured with a card to protect us from no shows and empty tables and this must be done using a PCI compliant system.  


Please inform us via or calling your local store with any dietary requirements you might have or pop them in the box when booking.

If you need to cancel your table please give 24 hours to avoid being charged a deposit. To cancel email with your booking reference or cancel directly from your booking email by clicking the link.

Half our tables are kept for reservations,
the other half are left for walk-ins.
if we are particularly busy there may be a wait, but this is usually minimal.
